One plan. Two people. Fewer money surprises.
Envelope budgeting built for two
Counts gives couples a shared, current view of what is safe to spend. Each person can use their own login while groceries, bills, goals, and everyday spending stay in one household plan.
Start freeShare the plan, not a password
Invite your partner to the household so both of you can update the same envelopes from your own secure account.
See what is left before spending
Envelope balances turn a vague monthly target into a practical answer at the moment a decision happens.
Keep the conversation forward-looking
Scheduled transactions, notes, and a shared ledger make the next choice visible without turning the budget into an audit of each other.

Questions people ask before starting
Can two people use Counts for free?
Yes. Counts Free supports a two-person household, up to 25 everyday envelopes, 10 goal or debt envelopes, and three accounts.
Do we need a joint bank account?
No. Counts can represent joint and individual accounts inside one shared household plan. You decide what belongs in the budget.
Does Counts require our bank login?
No. Counts currently uses manual entry and file imports rather than asking for online-banking credentials.
Can we use separate logins?
Yes. Household invitations let each person sign in with their own account and access the shared budget.
